More comfortable than the stock Sennheiser pad of my 598.
This worked out great for my Sennheiser 598 that I got way back in 2013. Naturally few if any headbands are going to last that long when used literally hours a day, day after day for all that time. In that time I'm on my third set of ear pads but this was the first time I replaced the headband. So as you can imagine mine was pretty cracked out. The pad fit on the headphones perfectly. It's thicker than the stock but that didn't create any issues, it's actually more comfortable than the stock headband. The only thing I didn't like about it was like others I had an adhesion issue at first with a 1 inch spot about 1-2 inches from the end of the left side wanting to keep coming unstuck. I was expecting similar from the reviews but it was still annoying to have to keep pressing that closed. What fixed the issue for me was just narrowing the gap between the fingers on what was suppose to be a GPU brace that I instead repurposed as a headphone holder I glued up to the bottom of my desk's hutch. That holding it tight and for long periods of time right on the spot that kept coming unstuck took care of it, now it doesn't come off anymore even if I don't place it there on that spot anymore like in the pic. So if you run into the same issue clamp it with something before you end up with dust or gunk or what have you getting onto the glue, and that should take care of it.I'm really happy with this.

Makes a HEDD Audio HEDDphone livable
I found the headband on my HEDD Audio HEDDphone uncomfortable on the top of my head. It is a heavy headphone. This pad has made the experience much more comfortable, and I can now listen to this thing for a couple of hours without any discomfort on the top of my head. The adhesion to the HEDD headband isn't great, but its been holding for about a month since it was installed. If I am careful with it, I would expect it to last for some time.

A good replacement headband
The adhesive is a little weak on the band, so it is important to make sure any residue from the old headband is cleaned off before installation. Fits and looks just right, and I forget that it isn't the original headband.

Perfect for me
The headband pad must have detached from my HD-555 years ago. Every time I put my headphones on, I'd hold the pad against them and it wouldn't ever fall out of place, so I didn't mind much. This new headband feels great and has been holding perfectly, so far.I ordered this on July 7th, 2024 and it's now October 15th.This new headband seems to be ever so slightly shorter than the original pad; I'm talking millimeters, so there is 0 perceptible difference unless you are looking directly at where it attaches to the headband. After applying the pad to the headband, I wrapped it tightly from end-to-end and gave it a good long time to make sure it was secure. I don't know if that was necessary, but it couldn't hurt.I am content with this purchase and can confidently recommend it to anyone who needs a replacement headband pad for their Sennheisers.

Mostly good
I bought this to replace the ancient and flat foam pad on my Sennheiser 558s.Pros1. Comfortable foam makes it feel brand new.Neutral1. Like the other reviewer said, the fit is only mostly right. Not a big deal though.Cons1. The 3M sticky side on mine is not very good. It'll stick as long as I don't move the headphones at all, but as soon as I open them to put them on my head, a gap forms between the sticky side and the headphone itself. It's not the biggest deal so I only removed a star. I bought this along with a set of official pads from Sennheiser and my 558s feel brand new again. However, I do wish the sticky side of this were more sticky. Otherwise, I recommend it.*Updated January 2021*My initial complaint of the sticky side not being that sticky has slowly become a bigger and bigger problem. To a point where, when I open the headphones to put them on, the pad just falls off. I plan on buying a new set and hoping it goes better, but when the gap exists, hair and dust get in there over a period of time (at least if you use yours as often as I use mine) and it eventually kills the sticky altogether. I'm Investigating ways to fix it, but short of a permanent install (with like glue), I feel like the sticky side of this goes bad long before the padded side does.Dropped from 4 stars to 3 stars.*update 2021*I saw some reviews that suggested the adhesive problem was fixed (or at least they started using a stronger adhesive). I bought another one and decided to try it out myself since myast one had such terrible adhesive.Even just peeling off the 3m tape, I could tell there was a significant difference between this one and the one I bought a year ago. Seems to stick much better. I did my usual thing which is to clean the headband with cotton balls and rubbing alcohol, letting it dry, and then putting on the headband. It still shows a small gap, but it's not nearly as big as before. This time, to not take any chances, I am going to use rubber bands and not touch it for a few days to let the adhesive set. Hopefully this one does better. If you don't see anymore future updates from me, consider it a success. 3 stars back to 4 stars.*Update 2022*Back to 3 stars as the adhesive started to do what it usually does, which is fail. Now when I open my 558s, the headband falls right out. However, I think I have figured out the issue and it's a matter of flexibility. When you open the headphone, the material can't stretch to accommodate, so it pulls the headband flat which separates it from the headphone. It's kinda like pork chops with a strip of fat. If you pan fry it, the pork chop curls up, but if you cut the fat strip, the stats flat. The same fix applies here. You can cut a notch out of the headband and, when you open the headphones, the material will have the proper give and not separate from the pad from the band.Only problem is that it looks bad.The only other solution I've found is to get a headband sock of some sort to hold the pad in place so the glue becomes irrelevant, but that flattens the pad faster than wearing it does.

works with sennheiser hd560s
biggest concern was if it would fit with the hd560s because the weird hump in the headband was annoying. it fit perfectly and is much better for my hair than the default one!

Sticker based but doesn't actually stick
While it's comfortable at first the way the headband bends means the adhesive falls off instantly and can catch your hair. Not worth it, look elsewhere
