3.5 stars. This actually isn't any thicker than standard off the shelf washing line from a high street retailer's hardware department. It was bought as a replacement for a line that is too thin, where pegs were unable to fully grip and washing was lost as a result.It's remained in the packet. It's fine if you just want 30m of standard line and don't have a hardware store to hand, but be aware that this isn't any thicker than any good quality product you can buy off the shelf. It's not cheap or nasty, in any way, just not quite what was expected from the description, and for the price paid.I sent it down to my pensioner sister unseen thinking I was doing her a favour, and I wasn't.

Due to mobility issues I couldn’t put up my rope for hanging out washing. It is so much easier now as I can leave this one out all the time and I also use it to aid my walking if I am struggling.I just wish it would not stretch as it has to be tightened a lot. However I am very pleased with it.

It's nice and thick so seems quite strong however it was too thick to thread through my rotary dryer properly (it needs to go through the hole twice when you move up to the next layer), so I ended up with a sort of 'blanket stich' to make it work. It's doing the job and I should have measured the diameter of the holes so can't complain. It arrived a very bright red colour but within a month it had faded to a translucent white. I don't mind as it's only to hold the washing up but if the colour is important to you then you might want to look for something else.

Bought this as a replacement prior to getting a couple of whirley gigs installed. Was super easy to put up using 2 metal fences and it’s super long. It’s been used now for over 5 months and considering leaving it where it is as it hasn’t moved or stretched even when I have heavy washing on it such as towels and has lasted through what was described as a weather booms with no issues at all. Hasn’t changed colour or worn at any areas even the bits that are crudly tied in a knot that I’m sure won’t exists in any bot scout manuals ! Very happy with purchase and would recommend.

This washing line is of a high quality and is very strong. 30 metres also gives you plenty of length, I have set up three separate washing lines within my garden from this one length. All I need now is for it to stop raining long enough for me to peg some washing out lolCustomer service was excellent, I ordered on the Friday with Prime delivery and requested my preferred colour via a short message. The washing line arrived the following morning, well packaged and as described.I have just ordered a second washing line for my Father. Highly recommended.

Ordered this to replace snapped line wife had bought a while back with some disbelief I'd ordered it as you can "get a line from the superstore for a quid or two less". Well this is a lot thicker than the one being replaced with thicker strands of wire running thru. 1 nil to me lol.

Bought to replace a nylon thread clothes line that had worn badly, frayed and eventually snapped. The smooth plastic coating on this line should make it more resilient. The plastic also feels thicker than some of the cheaper alternatives, so although it may cost more I have a feeling it will outlast them by some margin.Good length too, at 30 metres, enough to stretch across all but the biggest gardens. Also comes with a little plastic tensioner so that you can take in any slack that might appear with time.
